A DAY IN THE COUNTRY
Join us as we visit the 1828 Elam Jones Public House in Hartford, OH on August 14 at 11:00 am. On the main travel route (Ohio Route 7) for settlers between Youngstown and Conneaut and only a few miles from the Pennsylvania border this special restoration is the home of Chris and Diane Klingemier. Chris spoke to CDA in 2019 about the Trumbull County clock industry and has built and dedicated a room to house his collection of locally made wooden works clocks. Diane collects early decorative antiques and their house is a treasure trove of unique items. The tour will be followed by a picnic luncheon across the street from the house. This private home is a true gem in the Western Reserve.
